1. Open you My Computer or press Windows key +E

2. Right click on your USB drive then click Properties

3. Go to Hardware tab, select your USB device then click Properties

4. Click on the Change settings button

5. Go to Policies tab, Change the settings from Quick removal (default) to Better performance

6. Click OK and your done.

Note: If you perform this tweak it is now very important to use the Safely remove hardware notification icon before you unplug your USB device to avoid data loss or corruption.

If the power goes out, computer equipment must keep running. Even home computers need the time to shut down properly. Damage to devices and data can occur when there is sudden power loss or fluctuation. UPS, or Uninterruptible Power Supplies, provide power for devices in the event of a failure or other electrical problems. Millions of dollars worth of hardware and files are lost every year because of power problems that could have been avoided with proper UPS usage.

Proper sizing of the UPS unit is critical. Small UPS units are cheap, but they may not be able to supply enough power to keep your computer running long enough to properly shut down. Generally the more wattage that the UPS supports the longer time the computer can run when the power fails. You should also factor in the how much power your attached devices draw. Gaming computers and other systems with large power supplies will drain the UPS at an alarming rate, so make sure that the UPS supplies enough power. Information on power usage of computers is often found on the back, close to the power plug. If a monitor is protected, the wattage used by the monitor should also be added.

UPS units should also be chosen for the additional protection for other power events and not just power outages. Brownouts, when there is a drop in the power but not a complete failure, can cause your computer to run slower or cause files to become corrupted just as easily as a power failure can. Surges can be incredibly destructive to unprotected computers. Surges can occur naturally on the lines or may be the result of lightning. Many UPS units offer power conditioning. Step 1: Turn off your printer.

Step 2: Press and hold the STOP/RESET button then press the POWER button

Step 3: Release STOP/RESET while holding the POWER button, then press the STOP/RESET 2 times

Step 4: Release both buttons simultaneously

Step 5: The printer control LCD panel will show the “0″ value and your computer will detect NEW DEVICE

Step 6: Turn off your printer

Step 7: It’s done. Your printer is ready to use again.

I am one of the guys that uses the run command on a regular basis with the help of these list of Run Commands. Windows 7 introduces the start menu search but I still prefer using the Run Command. If you are like me that wants to bring back the old and reliable Run command follow the easy steps below.

3 Easy Steps to Add the Run Command in Windows 7 Start Menu

1. Right click on your Windows Orb then click Properties

2. In the Taskbar and Start Menu properties window select the Start Menu tab and click Customize button.

3. In the Customize Start Menu window scroll down to locate and check the box for the Run command then click OK

4. It’s done. Now if you open your Start Menu, you can now see the Run Command added to it.
