The latest report about this next Samsung Galaxy Note III Smartphone just from Samsung homeland actually suggest that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 800 which is the Qualcomm's top-notch platform instead of the expected Octa-core Exynos. It is not clear whether this information is true or just a rumour.

But if this turns out to be true then it can be an indication that Samsung really consider the Snapdragon 800 as more powerful and cheaper compared to the Octa-core Exynos or it could be that the Company is still having some problems in manufacturing its own chipset.

  • It is clear that this Snapdragon 800 platform actually has an embedded LTE radio which the Octa-core Exynos chipset does not have in place and Samsung need a third party hardware so as to enable the LTE support on Exynos and that may be the reason why they opted for the Snapdragon 800.
  • The Snapdragon 800 chipset is actually packed with a quad-core Krait 400 processor and this will definitely be able to  be clocked up to 2.3GHz.
  • This chipset also uses the Adreno 330 GPU in the graphics as well as supporting of the 4k video playback and the recording making it very useful to the consumers who love such qualities as music play back.
  • There is so much to brag about of this Snapdragon 800 as it also has a new generation LTE chip that supports category 4 and 7.1 channel sound which is up to 75Mbps uplink as well as 300Mbps downlink.

The unique features of Samsung Galaxy Note III

A part from the above mentioned features that will be brought about by the Snapdragon 800 Chipset, this Samsung Galaxy Note III Smartphone will be well equipped with 6inches super AMOLED display.

The RAM of the chipset will be 2+ GB and the 13+ MP of the camera. The exact specifications of the device are not yet known but those are the speculations as well as an S-Pen. The Samsung Galaxy Note III is expected to be announced on September this year in IFA Berlin at an unpacked event and it may get launched soon.
